Does a Brazilian wax hurt?
Everyone experiences pain differently, but all my clients say it's much more manageable than they expected. The first appointment is usually the most uncomfortable, and it gets easier with regular waxing (I promise). I'll walk you through the process and use techniques that prioritize your comfort.
How long should the hair be?
1/4 of an inch. That's a length of a grain of rice. About 2 weeks of no shaving, trimming, or tweezing. 4-6 weeks after waxing.
can I get waxed while on my period? what if i'm pregnant?
Yup! As long as you're comfortable, it doesn't bother me. Just pop in a fresh tampon or menstrual cup. Keep in mind you might be a little more sensitive during this time. If you have a tampon in, just make me aware!

Getting waxed while pregnant is ideal! Eventually getting down there to shave will get harder. I have lots of experience waxing pregnant women, my techniques will change and adjust as you get further along.

Sure do! ALL services at Beauty Hour Studio are genderless and made for everyBODY. Meaning both men and women can book any service including bikini and Brazilian waxing. Just a reminder this is a professional service - no funny business over here. Don't be weird, I have a pot of HOT wax in my possession.
