What is dermaplaning? do I need it?
Dermaplaning is a professional exfoliating treatment done with a surgical scalpel that removes dead skin cells and unwanted peach fuzz. If you have unwanted peach fuzz and want skincare products to work to their potential this service is ideal.
Will my face hair grow back thicker?
No, that's a myth. Dermaplaning does not change the color, thickness, or growth rate of your hair. It will grow back exactly as it was before.
Is there any downtime? How often should I do this?
I recommend 4-6 weeks to maintain the best results. There is very little downtime, 24-48 hours. Some clients appear slightly pink afterwards but this fades quickly. Limit sun exposure for the first 24 hours and wear sunscreen daily.
Can I still wear makeup?
Of course! You'll notice your makeup and skincare products go on much smoother. Wait at least 24 hours for makeup.
